Artist Spotlight: Samantha French

Today I’m over on Stripes & Sequins with a post on Samantha French for the Artist Spotlight series.  When I first stumbled upon Samantha’s paintings I was instantly drawn to them.  Swimming was a huge part of my life growing up.  I grew up on Cape Cod, surrounded by the water.  I love the beach and the ocean.  I also took swimming lessons every summer at Mr. Tyler’s, and eventually taught there as well.  Everyone who lives in my hometown knows Mr. Tyler’s as it was the best place to learn to swim.  Now, I’ve digressed!  Samantha’s paintings capture the feeling of being in the water, which is for me one of the best feelings there is.  Head on over to Stripes & Sequins for the full post.
